Privacy Policy · Effective March 2026

Your data
stays
yours.
Always.

Slate is built on a principle that most software ignores: the work you do belongs to you. Your scripts, breakdowns, and production files are never read, analysed, or accessed by Slate — not by our systems, not by our team. We have no technical means of doing so, and that is by design.

Your Production Data

What we cannot see.

We have no technical means of reading your scripts or production files. That is by design — not just policy.

Slate is built as a local-first application. Your screenplay, breakdown data, crew information, and call sheets are stored on your device — not on our servers.

This is not just a policy statement. It is a technical constraint. Slate's architecture does not include any mechanism to read, upload, or transmit the content of your productions.
